The I-2533CS-60CR is a converter used to establish a connection between two CAN bus systems via a single-mode fiber-optic transmission medium. To resolve transmission issues between the CAN bus and the fiber-optic cable, the I-2533CS-60CR series is specifically designed to convert the CAN bus’s electrical signal to fiber-optic cables. The I-2533CS-60CR series has three key features.
First, the transmission distance limitation of the CAN bus system will not be affected by different CAN transmission speeds. This means that the total operating distance of the CAN bus can be extended. Second, a bus error in one CAN network will not affect the operation of another CAN network. Finally, the two CAN networks can communicate with each other using different CAN transmission speeds, providing greater flexibility.
