Magnetic pick-up with metric thread (M16 x 1.5)
The magnetic sensor (MPU) is the communication link between the engine and controller electronics. The MPU is installed next to the drive shaft gear. It is made of a material that reacts to a magnetic field. When the flywheel rotates, it interrupts the MPU's magnetic field and produces an AC signal corresponding to the engine's speed.
