The MAINS version of the GENSYS COMPACT is a mains failure management product, which will automatically start the generator in the event of a mains failure, and bring the genset online after basic safety protections.

The GENSYS COMPACT MAINS will also enable the load to be retransferred to the mains, without blackout, after the mains has returned to a stable condition, and if necessary after validation by a qualified operator who can confirm if the grid is stable.

The GENSYS COMPACT MAINS also offers the possibility, via local or remote control, to transfer the load from the mains to the genset after synchronization, to isolate the grid without interruption if unfavorable conditions suggest a mains failure.

In the present case, the synchronization time must be as short as possible if the shopping center is in operation, so the CRE product user adjusted a ramp time of 10s to maintain quality charge transfer without any risk of damage. The customer also used the « operator-controlled mains transfer », a safety feature of the automatic mode, which alerts an operator either by an alarm or a warning light, so that the operator can physically come on site to validate that the grid can be restored after synchronization of the genset. Thanks to the GENSYS COMPACT  Scheduler, this function is only activated when the shopping center is open, and mains return is 100% automatic when the premises are unoccupied.
