Founded in 2006 in Brielle, the Netherlands, HB Technologie started out in a garage before growing year after year. In 2020, the company moved into new facilities in Vierpolders, near Rotterdam. Today, it is an installation and development firm serving the industrial, marine, and utility sectors.

Agriculture is a prime example of this expertise. HB Technologie equips combined heat and power (CHP) plants installed in greenhouses. The principle: simultaneously producing heat and electricity as close as possible to where it’s needed. For these projects, the team combines a CRE generator controller , a PLC, and its own HMI screens. Additionally, remote monitoring provides customers with complete visibility into their facilities.

The results speak for themselves. To date, HB Technologie has already integrated CRE Technology solutions into more than 50 projects. Some use a single controller, while others incorporate multiple units and displays, such as the new i4Gen models.

Initially, HB Technologie’s scope of operations covered the Benelux region. But the partnership quickly expanded. Today, the company also distributes our solutions in the United Kingdom, Germany, and several Northern European countries.
