Smart energy management for small and medium power applications

In low to medium power configurations integrating a single battery energy storage system (BESS) and a single genset, the complementary between Victron Energy and CRE Technology products becomes fully apparent. In this architecture, Victron's Cerbo GX plays the role of system master, intelligently managing the various energy sources.

The batteries supply power to the load and are mainly recharged by solar energy, minimizing fuel consumption and supporting environmentally-friendly operation. If the batteries or solar generation are not sufficient to cover demand, the generator automatically starts up according to configured conditions. For example, when the battery charge level becomes low.
For optimum efficiency in terms of fuel consumption, the batteries are recharged at a high rate. Once the desired state of charge has been reached, the generator stops again.

This automated management ensures continuous power supply while optimizing available energy resources.
